Thinners - An Introduction
Thinners are volatile liquid used to improve the application properties of a coating, normally by reducing viscosity. Volatile liquids are added to paints and varnishes to facilitate application and aid penetration by lowering the viscosity. They should be miscible with the paint or varnish at ordinary temperatures and should not cause precipitation of the non-volatile portion either in the container or in the film during drying.
Often specific thinners are required by the manufacturer of a coating to prevent damage to coating properties that may occur when an inappropriate thinner is used.
R9 Thinners are blended with the state of the art technology available in the world.
The appropriate R9 Thinners when added to the paints dilute and make the material more fluid and workable. It evaporates on drying and retain the original colour of the paint. It aids penetration of priming coats and with the right measure of R9 thinners the finishing coat adds glitter to your paint.
How can R9 Thinners be used:
- Depending on the Viscosity of paint and mode of application of the paint(gun spray, roller application) R9 Thinners are to be added to the paint.
- There are variety of R9 Thinners to use for different types of paints. Choose the right one for the paint to use.
Types of Thinners Offered by R9 Thinners:
- R9 Royale
- R9 Supereme
- R9 GP
- R9 Prime
- R9 Eco
